1,4-Dioxane - The Forgotten Emerging Contaminant?

On Demand Webinar | Presented By: Geraint Williams and Kayleigh Smith

Webinar Overview

To support our groundwater monitoring customers in better understanding this topic, we have invited guest speaker Geraint Williams, associate at ALS. He will provide an overview of 1,4-Dioxane occurrence, fate and transport properties and latest research into toxicology. Kayleigh Smith from In-Situ will cover best practice approaches for sampling and laboratory analysis.

Topics will include:

  • Background
  • Uses
  • Fate and transport properties
  • Sampling approaches
  • Laboratory analysis
  • Toxicology
  • Risk assessment
  • Remediation

This course is designed for professionals who are new to monitoring for 1,4-Dioxane in water. This includes:
