How to Improve Wastewater Treatment Processes and Cost Efficiency with Ammonia-Based Aeration Control

On Demand Webinar | Presented By: Dave Wilson and Tony Freed

Webinar Overview

Advances in online analyzers have increased the effectiveness and reach of Ammonia-Based Aeration Control (ABAC) in wastewater treatment plants. This webinar will focus on the global push for ABAC and how to significantly reduce energy usage and improve removal rates for Ammonia in wastewater.

Topics will include:

  • How ABAC works
  • Ammonia measurement technology
  • Installation and maintenance concerns
  • Real-world case studies
  • Plant Operators
  • Plant Engineers
  • Plant Managers
  • C&E Design Engineers

Presenter: Dave Wilson and Tony Freed

Dave Wilson is the VP of Sales for Process at In-Situ. He has a BSc in Applied Geology from the University of Birmingham, UK and started his career working with groundwater sampling and monitoring instrumentation. He has spent the last 10 years installing and maintaining sensors in drinking water and wastewater applications and has delivered teaching material on the real-world use of monitoring technology in treatment plants around the world.

Tony Freed graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in Biology and received an MS in Applied & Environmental Microbiology from GA Tech. Tony joined ChemScan as a Regional Manager in 2017. His long career in the water industry has focused primarily on the design and control of biological wastewater processes. His activities include product research and development, process design, technical sales, product management, operator training, process trouble shooting and optimization. He holds two U.S. patents for wastewater treatment processes.
