Meet the Challenge of Biological Nutrient Removal with the Right Techniques and Tools

On Demand Webinar | Presented By: Scott Kahle

Webinar Overview

Control of Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) in wastewater treatment plants can be challenging. Reliable measurements require proper sampling using low-maintenance solutions and advanced analysis techniques appropriate for process changes and wastewater influent variability. This webinar presents the best practices ChemScan has developed during 20 years of working with plants to improve Biological Nutrient Removal, with a focus on nitrification and denitrification processes, using optimized solutions.

  • Key control parameters to monitor throughout the Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) processes
  • The importance of monitoring nitrogen in a wastewater treatment plant
  • Instrumentation considerations using real-world examples in numerous processes
  • Techniques to improve nitrate and nitrite measurement accuracy with plant-specific algorithms
  • Plant Operators
  • Plant Engineers
  • Plant Managers
  • C&E Design Engineers
