The RDO sensor uses RDO Technology, which is the EPA-approved method for optical DO measurement. It provides an accurate and stable dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement. This specially formulated RDO foil is designed to optimize response time, making it ideal for spot-checking and profiling applications.
EPA-approved Dissolved Oxygen sensors are easy to use, with a multilayer, abrasion-resistant formulation, a smart cap that carries calibration onboard, and instant hydration to eliminate the need for conditioning prior to use.
RDO Fast Cap
The RDO Fast Cap is less abrasion resistant than the RDO X Cap, but responds faster to changes in oxygen levels. At a 30s T90 response time, the Fast Cap enables quick spot-checking.
Smart Sensor Cap
RDO sensing foils are calibrated at 90 discrete points, and the coefficients are stored in the replaceable cap. Simply press it on and you’re ready to go, no data entry or extra steps needed.
Instant Hydration Conditioning
Unlike other DO sensors, the RDO formulation doesn’t require 12-24 hours of hydration conditioning and reads accurately within 90 seconds of going from dry to wet conditions.
