The FC8 Flowcell is used with the TurbiTech sensors to measure suspended solids or turbidity in applications where no open channel or tank is available and a process liquid sample must be taken and passed through a flow cell to be measured.
Flow enters the flow cell on the left-hand side. Air bubbles dissipate in the first chamber, while the sample flow enters the central measurement chamber through a narrow underflow gap, so that the sensor, located in the central chamber, receives a bubble-free sample. The sample flow leaves the flow cell via the right-hand chamber.
