The OxyTech RDO Sensor connects to the 750 portable monitor for simple, real-time spot checking of dissolved oxygen in various wastewater applications.
It incorporates In-Situ’s latest RDO core technology, renowned for its reliability, accuracy, durability and abrasion-resistance.
The OxyTech RDO doesn’t require hydration conditioning and provides fast-response, accurate data within 90 seconds from dry to wet conditions. Calibration coefficients are loaded in the sensor cap for automated, error-free setup.
The RDOX® luminescence quenching sensors have been proven through extensive lab testing and the methodology has been approved by the United States EPA. DO concentration is derived from measuring the luminescence lifetime based on the phase shift between red returned light from the excited lumiphore molecules and the red reference light from the red LED. The OxyTechw² RDO for 750w² does not consume oxygen and does not require water movement for accurate measurements.
RDO Smart Sensor Cap
RDO Smart Sensor Cap - Optical DO sensing foils typically show a high degree of response variability batch to batch and need specific calibration coefficients. Every RDO foil is calibrated at 90 discrete points and the calibration coefficients are stored in a memory chip embedded in the cap.
Factory Calibration
In-Situ performs a multi-point factory calibration on every sensor. This calibration ensures that the sensor is linear across its full range and reduces the complexity of user calibration.
Abrasion Resistance
A unique, three-layer system provides unmatched chemical and abrasion resistance, extending the life of the sensor cap and expanding the range of compatible conditions.
Instant Hydration Conditioning
Unlike other DO sensors, the OxyTechw² RDO for 750w² formulation doesn’t require 12-24 hours of hydration conditioning and reads accurately within 90 seconds of going from dry to wet conditions.
Enhanced Reliability
Ryton construction and complete internal potting to create a solid core provide strength and chemical resistance to eliminate most common failures.
