This portable rugged dissolved oxygen (RDO) probe uses the latest and most trusted dissolved oxygen (DO) optical technology for measuring DO and temperature in demanding wastewater and drinking water process environments.
Use the In-Situ Wireless TROLL Com (sold separately) for connecting to a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device and the VuSitu® mobile app to view live readings, set up logs, take site photos, and share data via email or cloud storage.
The RDOX portable DO sensor incorporates In-Situ’s latest RDO core technology renowned for its
reliability, accuracy and durability. Setup is easy and automated. Calibration coefficients are loaded into the sensor cap.
The RDOX® luminescence quenching sensors have been proven through extensive lab testing and the methodology has been approved by the United States EPA. DO concentration is derived from measuring the luminescence lifetime based on the phase shift between red returned light from the excited lumiphore molecules and the red reference light from the red LED. The RDOX does not consume oxygen and does not require water movement for accurate measurements.
RDOX Smart Sensor Cap
RDOX Smart Sensor Cap - Optical DO sensing foils typically show a high degree of response variability batch to batch and need specific calibration coefficients.
Every RDOX foil is calibrated at 90 discrete points and the calibration coefficients are stored in a memory chip embedded in the cap.
Factory Calibration
In-Situ performs a multi-point factory calibration on every sensor. This calibration ensures that the sensor is linear across its full range and reduces the complexity of user calibration.
Abrasion Resistance
A unique, three-layer system provides unmatched chemical and abrasion resistance, extending the life of the sensor cap and expanding the range of compatible conditions.
Instant Hydration Conditioning
Unlike other DO sensors, the RDOX formulation doesn’t require 12-24 hours of hydration conditioning and reads accurately within 90 seconds of going from dry to wet conditions.
Enhanced Reliability
Ryton construction and complete internal potting to create a solid core provide strength and chemical resistance to eliminate most common failures.
