RDO Core IC combines In-Situ’s industry-leading RDO Technology with conductivity, temperature and pressure sensors to offer a 4-in-1 solution. With a sub-2-inch insertion depth and optimized diameter, this compact and cost-effective module fits easily into autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), underwater cameras and other submersible devices without interfering with other internal electronics. This core allows power input of 5-36V to support both external and internal power supplies, making it compatible with a wide range of devices, including battery-powered machines.
RDO Core IC includes integrated salinity compensation to maintain highly-accurate DO measurements in environments with fluctuating salinity levels. There’s no need to change salinity values between calibration and deployment, making RDO Core IC ideal for use in aquaculture applications, brackish water bodies and other environments where variable salinity can affect dissolved oxygen readings.
RDO luminescence-quenching sensors have been proven effective through extensive lab testing, and the methodology has been approved by the United States EPA. RDO sensors do not consume oxygen and do not require water movement for accurate measurements.
