RDO® Trio combines In-Situ's patented Rugged Dissolved Oxygen Technology with built-in conductivity and temperature sensors for reliable, real-time water quality monitoring. Integrated salinity compensation ensures accurate measurements across all environments, especially coastal and marine.
A copper guard and optional integrated wiper extend deployments. Unlike traditional electrochemical methods, RDO Trio requires no membranes, electrolyte, or water flow, and features a user-replaceable RDO Smart Sensor Cap for easy maintenance.
With Modbus/RS485 digital output, RDO Trio integrates seamlessly with PLCs and connects directly to the VuSitu mobile app and HydroVu data services for simplified setup, logging, and data access.
The RDO Trio is built for reliable performance in high-fouling environments. The flat-face design, integrated wiper, and antifouling guard reduce buildup and simplify cleaning.
AUTOMATIC FOULING RECOVERY
When paired with the optional wiper, the probe supports automatic intelligent cleaning based on user set DO thresholds. The RDO Trio self clears false low DO events due to fouling.
SHARED ECOSYSTEM
The RDO Trio integrates seamlessly with In-Situ’s ecosystem, including telemetry, communication devices, cables, VuSitu, and HydroVu for reduced complexity and cost.
OPEN MODBUS API
All RDO Trio instruments feature an open Modbus interface for seamless integration with SCADA systems, controllers, and telemetry devices. The RDO Trio includes a comprehensive public Modbus API guide to make setup fast and reliable.
EPA APPROVED METHOD
RDO luminescence-quenching sensors have been proven effective through extensive lab testing, and the methodology has been approved by the United States EPA. RDO sensors do not consume oxygen and do not require water movement for accurate measurements.
SMART SENSOR CAP
RDO sensing foils are calibrated at 90 discrete points, and the calibration coefficients are stored in the replaceable cap. Simply press it on and you’re ready to go – no data entry or extra steps needed.
ABRASION RESISTANCE
A unique, three-layer system provides unmatched chemical and abrasion resistance, extending the life of the sensor cap and expanding the range of compatible conditions.
INTEGRATED SALINITY COMPENSATION
