ChemScan Submersible Strainer

The ChemScan Submersible Strainer is designed for use with the ChemScan mini and UV analyzers when the sample is directly extracted from a sample basin or channel. The Strainer protects the analyzer from occasional solids, such as pin-floc from a secondary clarifier upset, that can accumulate in the analyzer's inlet strainer. Flow to the analyzer passes through a mesh screen where solids are rejected. Regular maintenance typically requires an occasional screen cleaning with a soft brush. The sample line umbilical is available with optional freeze protection using a self-regulating heat trace.
