The Load-Bearing Universal Adapter provides a compact, simple and waterproof method to connect rain gauges and other third-party products to VuLink, without the need to splice and epoxy cables or use expensive devices requiring banks of terminal blocks for connection compatibility.

Use the Load-Bearing Universal Adapter with or without an In-Situ Rugged Cable Splitter to connect bare wires and establish reliable communication between instruments. This innovative solution uses two sets of four terminal blocks arranged behind integrated cable glands to secure the connection. And with In-Situ’s patented Cable Grip technology, the entire connection is load bearing, up to the strength of the cable jackets.
