A machined stainless steel body option is available for added confidence in the harshest environments. The RDO EPA Approved Method allows NPDES permit holders to monitor influent, effluent and treatment processes. The RDOX probe is immediately auto calibrated upon cap installation for ease of use and high accuracy.
The RDOX® luminescence quenching sensors have been proven through extensive lab testing and the methodology has been approved by the United States EPA. DO concentration is derived from measuring the luminescence lifetime based on the phase shift between red returned light from the excited lumiphore molecules and the red reference light from the red LED. The RDOX does not consume oxygen and does not require water movement for accurate measurements.
