The Level TROLL NC is a high-performance, 80 GHz FMCW radar sensor designed for non-contact water level measurement. Seamlessly integrating into our shared ecosystem, it features a twist-lock connector and intuitive VuSitu mobile app compatibility for easy setup and data collection.
Available in three measurement ranges—15 m (49 ft), 30 m (98 ft), and 50 m (164 ft)—it delivers reliable performance in surface water, dredging, and coastal applications. A narrow 5-degree beam angle minimizes interference, allowing for flexible site selection in challenging environments. Built to withstand harsh weather conditions, the Level TROLL NC is an ideal solution for long-term, low-maintenance monitoring.
Engineered for durability and ease of use, the Level TROLL NC pairs with our robust mounting accessory option with a built-in leveling tool, ensuring fast and precise installation. It is compatible with VuLink and TROLL Com Plus for streamlined remote data access.
Note: The Level TROLL NC requires sufficient power to collect data. It can be powered using a TROLL Com Plus or paired with VuLink telemetry (Lithium batteries only) with a maximum of one instrument connected.

The sensor's 5° beam angle only requires a 1 m (2.4 ft) diameter clear zone at 11.5 m
(25 ft) range. This narrower beam increases flexibility for installation in tighter spaces.
Active Zone & Peak Detection
Using the VuSitu app, users can view the echo curve to assess signal return and
surface reflection strength. Fine-tune measurements with customizable Active
Zone settings or change Peak Detection to enhance signal clarity and detection
accuracy.
